In the fall semester of 2016, the Office of the Arts launched a new 3-unit course available to all undergraduates at Hunter College. This course, “Explorations in the Arts” (HUM201), introduces students to the arts through performances and exhibitions in New York City. In addition to in-class discussions, this course involves visiting museums and attending theater, dance, and music performances as a class, making it a unique opportunity for students to engage with the arts of New York City.
